Natalia Merabishvili is a founding partner of Cocaz Legal with a broad range of private law experience on a domestic as well as international scale. Her practice covers International and european law, european community law, european business regulation, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, international contracts, international trade, project finance, capital markets, oil and gas, energy law.
Ms. Merabishvili has been involved in a vast number of major capital markets as well as project finance transactions in her previous jobs which gave her considerable experience and solid foundation for starting independent practice.
Prior joining the Cocaz Legal team Natalia served as a Chief Legal Officer (Deputy CEO on Legal Affairs) at JSC Partnership Fund a state owned investment vehicle which supports private sector in investing into commercially viable projects in Energy, Manufacturing, Agricultural and Real Estate sectors and owns stakes in major state-owned enterprises including Georgian Railway, Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation, Georgian State Electrosystem, Electricity System Commercial Operator and etc. Natalia became the member of Partnership Fund team in the first days of its establishment and contributed in her capacities to its growth and development for over twenty months.
Ms. Merabishvili`s acquired also considerable experience while working as an associate in the BLC Law Office. She also held positions at the Legal Department of the Ministry of Finances of Georgia, General Inspection and Office of the Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

Natalia`s educational background includes LL.M. Degree in International Commercial Law, Diploma with distinction from London City University (2008); Master 2 Degree in International and European law from Pierre Mendes France University, Grenoble II (2006), Master 1 Carrieres Judiciaires et Sciences Criminelles from University of Toulouse of Social Sciences (2005); Diploma with Honors from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law (2005).
